Welcome to The Stables at Goethe, located in Levy County Florida, near the Gulf of Mexico!
We are a family owned and operated business, offering year round camping, stabling, and full board accommodations.
We adjoin the Goethe State Forest and Wildlife Management Area, along the Black Prong Trails. The forest boasts hundreds of miles of equestrian trails, biking trails, hiking trails, hunting, fishing, timber management, and ecological restoration.
Goethe State Forest is the home to two AERC rides per year, the world famous Black Prong Equestrian Center, and one of the largest red-cockaded woodpecker populations on state land.
Also living here are rare animal species, such as, the Florida Black Bear, fox squirrels, gopher turtles, and Bald Eagles.

Natural flora consists of wild blackberries and gallberries, pine and palmetto flatwoods, oak hammocks, and cypress swamps. Trail footing changes throughout the trail system and may be made up of sand, limerock, pine bottoms, or gravel. While on a trail you may have the occasional crossing of a paved road or creek.
